i got a garden suite and it was good. the staff were so helpful! they were very accommodating! it was excellent all round.
the water wasn't hot enough for my wife in the shower though it was only just about warm enough for me. i told reception about this, and they did say it was an ongoing problem.

i found the staff good. nothing was like too much trouble. the hotel is attractive, i think, and conveniently situated for exploring (i just adored the proximity to everything!). i especially liked that the car park is spacious and secure.
i did notice the bathroom door only closed if you slammed it. it did not affect my stay but i thought i'd mention it.

I had a fabulous evening meal, thanks to the Taste du Vin room deal. The team looked after me well. Olivia greeted me with a friendly welcome and provided great service. Jakob and Eloise described the meal and wine pairings expertly. The dessert wine was AMAZING!!!
The bathroom needed more attention to cleanliness. I expected better.

The location was amazing. It really suited our needs. The staff gave us a warm welcome. I appreciated the lovely junior garden suite. Sitting out in the early evening was perfect.
My shower required climbing over a very deep bath, this was a bit difficult.

Breakfast was EXCELLENT. The bistro also offered a very good Sunday lunch. The delicious vegan tasting menu that evening was nice, and Hannah looked after us well. It WAS time between courses, so we could fully enjoy the food.
