garden suite helpful staff accommodating staff excellent experience
i got a garden suite and it was good. the staff were so helpful! they were very accommodating! it was excellent all round.
the water wasn't hot enough for my wife in the shower though it was only just about warm enough for me. i told reception about this, and they did say it was an ongoing problem.

the staff provided assistance with parking. they helped with dinner reservations too. the team gave a friendly welcome and service, and they provided great meal and wine descriptions, i really enjoyed it

helpful staff special feeling attractive hotel spacious car park
i found the staff good. nothing was like too much trouble. the hotel is attractive, i think, and conveniently situated for exploring (i just adored the proximity to everything!). i especially liked that the car park is spacious and secure.
i did notice the bathroom door only closed if you slammed it. it did not affect my stay but i thought i'd mention it.

friendly welcome expert description
I had a fabulous evening meal, thanks to the Taste du Vin room deal. The team looked after me well. Olivia greeted me with a friendly welcome and provided great service. Jakob and Eloise described the meal and wine pairings expertly. The dessert wine was AMAZING!!!
The bathroom needed more attention to cleanliness. I expected better.

The breakfast featured a well-stocked continental table and a tasty cooked English breakfast made to order. The food was excellent, well-prepared, and nicely served during the company event, and the dessert wine tasted WONDERFUL!!!

Harvey on reception stood out. He provided a map with points of interest and good pubs marked. The staff were amazing, helpful, and very attentive. I appreciated their hard work coordinating the evening, and the bartenders were EXCELLENT!!!

warm welcome junior suite perfect evening
The location was amazing. It really suited our needs. The staff gave us a warm welcome. I appreciated the lovely junior garden suite. Sitting out in the early evening was perfect.
My shower required climbing over a very deep bath, this was a bit difficult.

Breakfast was EXCELLENT. The bistro also offered a very good Sunday lunch. The delicious vegan tasting menu that evening was nice, and Hannah looked after us well. It WAS time between courses, so we could fully enjoy the food.

We were warmly welcomed at reception. Harvey made our check-in smooth and easy. Minty made our delicious drinks and introduced us to White Port with tonic, mint, and lemon. The friendly team really added to our enjoyment.

Our junior garden suite WAS large and comfortable, giving us space to relax. The bed WAS very comfortable, great for restful sleep. The room offered great space to unwind after a day exploring.

The room was really comfortable. I especially liked the bathroom, it had a really good shower and also a bath to relax in. the bar was lovely, with great wine. The barman was very knowledgeable.
the windows did not open in the bedroom. the room was directly in front of loud ventilation. it bothered me.
